Uppercrust continues to craft delicious baked goods day after day and does it flawlessly. The pastries are delicious (even more so when it's fresh in the morning), and the employees are all sweet and helpful. The shop is super cute and there's a ton of trinkets inside that add to the vibes of the place. Definitely recommending coming as early as possible because they run out super fast!! ”

“ This place is in a cute area right next to my yoga studio. It's always packed- which should tell you how good it is. Not a ton of seating but 3-4 outdoor tables. Some people steal the Fresh Market seating next door too. The food is fresh, and they offer sweet pastries, savory bites, and fresh bread. (Vegetarian options too!) the coffee and matcha is also great, but a little more expensive than what I typically would pay for it. I typically stop here for a guava "flat croissant" after yoga! ”

“ Let's start with the smells that greet you when you walk through the door! The combinations of baking bread, coffee, carmelized fruit, and butter pull you right in and make your mouth water. I stepped up to the counter preparing to control my urge to buy one of everything. Ha! Ultimately landed on a savory and a sweet each for my husband and myself. (It was very hard to choose...) I had the chai latte with mine and my husband had an americano. Both were exactly the right drinks for our lunch. Seating is on the wide sidewalk in front of the storefront, but it is covered so the Florida sun is kept at bay. We will definitely return if we are in the area! ”

Now as an adult I am so thrilled to be able to really tell everyone how they must try this adorable little bakery. My top items are the croissants. But on the VERY TOP is the Rosemary bread. This bread is like home to me. I have so many memories of eating this bread with my family. It's just a beautiful bake with a delicious rosemary flavor. The ladies at the counter are so nice and friendly every time we go. The bakery is just so cute inside. Makes you feel like you're stepping in to a French bakery while being in Gainesville. 100% Recommend ”
